Supporting SDG 4
Our project supports the aims of inclusive, equitable quality education. Better access is an intended outcome that still needs evaluation.
Free education. Brighter opportunities.

Knowledge
today.
A brighter
tomorrow.
EduConnect organises free Computing learning materials into one clear catalogue. Our aim is to help beginners find a useful starting point, whatever their background.

Free core learning materials, clear sources and flexible ways to explore. Check each card for provider registration requirements.
Discover a subject, try a practical resource and build on what you learn, one step at a time.
Beginner students can spend time working out where to start. EduConnect organises free learning materials into subject categories, with search and filters for level and format. Its aim is to make resource discovery easier to navigate.
The project connects to SDG 4: Quality Education. Improved access and a better independent learning experience are intended outcomes. We have not yet measured those outcomes with students.
A SMALL, INSPECTABLE CATALOGUE
We prioritise identifiable educational institutions and official technical documentation, free access to core learning materials, relevance to Computing, and a clear topic or learning purpose. This is a manually selected catalogue, not a ranking of all available courses.
Titles and links were checked on 15 October 2026. Descriptions are short editorial summaries. “Beginner” and “Next step” are our suggestions, not provider certifications. Some courses need accounts for exercises or progress tracking. Optional certificates may be paid.
EduConnect links to original materials rather than copying courses. Provider names identify the source; no affiliation or endorsement is implied. Providers may change their content, pricing or access conditions.
You can browse and practise without an account. Reading-list IDs and completed learning milestones are stored in this browser. When email accounts are activated, signing in will use Supabase to store your email, reading list and learning progress. Account settings show whether cloud sync is active. Signing out restores this device’s guest workspace. Never use the code editor or community to share passwords or personal information. Hosting infrastructure and external services process ordinary request data under their own privacy practices. Python and SQL load a runtime from jsDelivr on demand; account features load the Supabase library only after configuration. We do not add analytics or advertising trackers.
We use semantic page structure, labelled controls, keyboard focus styles, live result counts and layouts that adapt to narrow screens. These are accessibility design measures, not a claim of full conformance. Browser zoom, keyboard and assistive-technology checks are part of the evaluation plan.
Community questions and replies will be publicly visible after team review; use a display name rather than an email address. Participation certificates are self-reported, not accredited or identity-verified. Account holders can clear their stored progress on the Account page. Contact the project team through the university group channel to request account or community-data deletion.

TEST THE EXPERIENCE, NOT THE ASSUMPTION
The project will use task-based testing: find a beginner Python course, locate a web-development guide, combine filters and save a resource. We plan to record task completion, observed navigation difficulties and feedback, with appropriate consent and tutor guidance.
Technical checks verify search and filtering behaviour, navigation, saved-list actions and responsive layouts. A functioning prototype alone does not demonstrate improved learning. Participant testing and research conclusions must be based on work the team actually performs.
Built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript for the CPU4106-20C Group Project. The current prototype and supporting material use AI assistance. Students should review the source and record their own contributions.
